We the brothers of Gamma Xi Fraternity, Incorporated have a platform, and we have a duty to our Black members, and loved ones to stand against racism. As a black male, I am often fearful of the safety of my everyday environment for myself and my brothers. It deeply affects us all as a community to consistently wake up to continuously see these injustices and murders of Black people. As Rihanna said previously, "If intentional MURDER is the fit consequence for 'drugs' or 'resisting arrest'... then what’s the fit consequence for MURDER?"
